Aftershock 2026 broke its own record: 180,000 fans in triple digit heat

A sold out record crowd of 180,000 braved triple digit heat for Tool, MCR, Limp Bizkit, and Pierce The Veil. The biggest Aftershock ever.

And just like that, the biggest Aftershock ever is in the books. One hundred eighty thousand people over four days. Sold out. In triple digit heat. Sacramento does not play.

My Chemical Romance celebrated 20 years of The Black Parade on Thursday. Wu-Tang rolled through on their Final Chamber tour. Soulfly brought out Jakobe Moreno, Chino's son, to fill in on Pain, which is one of those moments people will talk about for years.

Pierce The Veil made their headlining debut on Saturday and the younger crowd showed up LOUD. Then Tool closed the whole thing Sunday night, mesmerizing as always, because Tool does not know how to do anything else.

Forty million dollars in economic impact. Fans from all 50 states and 30 countries. Danny Wimmer's festivals pulled nearly 1.1 million people this year. The West Coast's biggest rock festival just keeps getting bigger. See you in 2027.
