Bad Bunny kicked off the World's Hottest Tour last night at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, and it was his first ever stadium tour. Twenty nine dates, and sixteen of the twenty one US shows were already sold out before he played a note. Over 725,000 tickets gone. The tour would go on to gross $232.5 million from just the US leg.
He opened with Moscow Mule and basically played all of Un Verano Sin Ti, the album that made him Spotify's most-streamed artist on the planet. Tití Me Preguntó, Efecto, Ojitos Lindos, Después de la Playa, the whole summer soundtrack, plus the older killers: Safaera, Yo Perreo Sola, Dákiti, I Like It.
This is a victory lap for the biggest Latin artist in the world, and it is only night one.
