Norway heard you like festivals and decided to end the conversation. Tons of Rock just revealed the first 17 artists for 2027, and it reads like a headliner list that got loose.
Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Turnstile, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Helloween, and Amon Amarth are leading it. Then you keep reading and there is Kreator, Satyricon, Watain, Motionless In White, I Prevail, and GWAR, because apparently Oslo believes every festival needs fake blood and chaos.
It all goes down June 23 to 26 at Ekebergsletta in Oslo. Last year they had Maiden, The Offspring, Alice Cooper, Anthrax, and Tom Morello, so this is not a fest that plays around with the booking.
Sunset Strip swagger, German thrash, Norwegian black metal, and hardcore's biggest crossover band on one poster. Somebody in Oslo is doing the Lord's work.
