Some festivals rent a field and call it a destination. Tortuga skips the rental. The stages go up right on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the Atlantic sits in front of the crowd, and the music runs for three days. The 14th edition of Rock The Ocean's Tortuga Music Festival lands Friday, April 2 through Sunday, April 4, 2027, at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, and the lineup announcement just gave Florida its first big weekend to circle for spring.

The top of the bill: Eric Church, Megan Moroney and Florida Georgia Line headline the 2027 edition. Church brings the kind of live show that turns a beach crowd into a choir. Moroney has gone from opener talk to top-line billing in a hurry, and Tortuga is handing her a headline spot while her run is still climbing.
Florida Georgia Line is the story of the weekend. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley announced a return to touring in 2027, and Tortuga will be the duo's first headlining festival performance since that announcement. Fans have waited a long time to hear those harmonies live again, and Fort Lauderdale gets the comeback show.
The bill goes wide: country runs the main stage, and the side doors stay open. Stephen Wilson Jr., Tucker Wetmore and Stella Lefty hold down main stage slots, while the Sunset Stage goes its own way: Goo Goo Dolls, Train and NE-YO headline it with rock, pop and R&B as the sun drops over the beach.
“Three stages on the sand, the ocean a few steps away, and Eric Church on the bill. That's a Florida weekend done right.”
Moe Train
The rest of the announced bill keeps the mix going, with Grace Potter, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Dylan Marlowe, Dylan Scott, Drake Milligan, Chase Matthew, Carter Faith, Tyler Braden and Willow Avalon among the names confirmed for 2027. Three stages, one beach, and a bill that refuses to sit in one lane.
The practical stuff: tickets are on sale now at TortugaMusicFestival.com. For the first time, single-day tickets are part of the sale, alongside three-day passes and GA+, VIP and SVIP packages. Hotel packages run through festival partner Jampack.

A festival with a job to do: Tortuga started in 2013 with a second purpose built into the ticket. Rock The Ocean puts ocean conservation on the grounds, and the Conservation Village gives fans a place to meet the groups working on ocean research and education between sets. Fans have helped raise more than $7 million for ocean conservation, research and education through the festival so far. The party pays for the mission, and the mission gives the party a reason to exist past Sunday night.
The history backs the booking power, too. Past Tortuga bills have carried headliners like Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Luke Combs, Keith Urban and Jelly Roll. A festival that can pull that list, on that beach, for fourteen years is working with real gravity.
Why Tracks is pointing east: Tortuga sits on Florida's east coast, a straight shot from our Southwest Florida base, and Florida events are home turf for this outlet. Moe Train's Tracks has covered music and entertainment since 2005, with 500M+ listens and interviews that run from Bob Weir to Chuck D to Kyle Gass. In person is how we work: the interviews, the crowd, the set people argue about on the drive home.
A beach festival with a comeback headliner, a rising star at the top of her climb and a conservation village in the middle of the grounds gives us plenty to write about, and plenty to ask about. Tortuga 2027 has the bill, the beach and the mission. That's a weekend worth the drive east.
