Bruce Dickinson does not sit still, and 2027 is about to learn that the hard way. The Iron Maiden frontman just announced the PsychoGod Tour, a solo run across June, July, November, and December 2027, with a brand new solo album planned for the first half of the year. New record, new tour, same air raid siren.

The run starts June 14 at Ulster Hall in Belfast, then rolls through Dublin, Milan, Zurich, and Istanbul, with festival stops at Rock Imperium, Rockharz, and Masters of Rock baked into the summer leg. After a break, Swedish metallers Evergrey join from Warsaw on November 10 for the fall stretch, which lands at London's Eventim Apollo on December 3 and closes December 10 at L'Olympia in Paris.

The band behind him is the band on the record: guitarists Chris Declercq and Philip Naslund, bassist Tanya O'Callaghan, drummer Dave Moreno, and keyboardist Mistheria. And listen to how the album got made. Dickinson told Rolling Stone back in April that they recorded it entirely live and knocked out 16 tracks in 21 days. Live. Twenty one days. Bands take longer than that to argue about a logo.
One song on the record ties back to The Mandrake Project, his 2024 comeback record, and Dickinson's own review of the new one is short and perfect: "The album is heavy as shit." Sir, say less. We are in.
Tickets go on general sale Friday, October 30 through his official site. Maiden is out there with their own giant 2027 plans, and Bruce is doubling down with a solo year on top of it. The man has two full time jobs and both of them are screaming over guitars. Respect the work rate.
