Almost Acoustic Christmas is a lie, and I mean that as a compliment. There's nothing quiet about this lineup.
KROQ just announced the 2026 edition for December 12 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, and Foo Fighters are headlining the whole thing. Foo Fighters. At a show with acoustic in the name. Sure, KROQ. Sure.
The rest of the bill covers every direction at once: Weezer, Sublime, Interpol, Joyce Manor, Julia Wolf, Almost Monday, and The Linda Lindas. That's three decades of alt rock radio on one stage in one night, plus the younger bands who grew up stealing riffs from all of them.
“It's a holiday tradition with distortion pedals.”

This show has history too. KROQ started it back in 1989 as the KROQ Xmas Bash at the Universal Amphitheatre, and the station is celebrating 35 years of it this year. U2, Green Day, blink-182, No Doubt, and Nine Inch Nails have all played it over the years. It's a holiday tradition with distortion pedals.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 30 at 12 pm PST, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Para Los Ninos and the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center. Get in fast. A Foo Fighters headline set at the Forum isn't going to sit there waiting for anybody.
