The daily lineups are out and I need everyone to look at Saturday with me. Tool. Morrissey. Social Distortion. Nas. Bad Religion. Descendents. PUP. Thrice. Less Than Jake. On one day. In one park. That is not a festival day, that is a fever dream.
Friday is no joke either. Twenty One Pilots and Iggy Pop topping a day with Rise Against, Pixies, Alkaline Trio, the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, and GWAR. GWAR at a festival is always the right decision.
Sunday closes it with Pierce The Veil, Alanis Morissette, Elvis Costello, Patti Smith, and Taking Back Sunday. Plus Insane Clown Posse, because of course.
September 18 to 20, Douglass Park, Chicago. Over 100 artists across five stages. Single day tickets go on sale tomorrow, June 18. And yes, retired weatherman Tom Skilling is doing live forecasts from the grounds, which is the most Riot Fest thing imaginable.
