What to watch at Lollapalooza this weekend

The Pumpkins' Chicago homecoming, Charli's new era, Lorde's first headline, and JENNIE making history. Your cheat sheet for four days in Grant Park.

Gates open tomorrow and this is the most interesting Lolla in years. Here is where I would be.

The Smashing Pumpkins, obviously. First Lollapalooza since 1994, in their hometown, closing it out. If there is one set with real history on it this weekend, it is that one.

Charli XCX is expected to debut her new album Music Fashion Film live, fresh off the BRAT era. Lorde finally gets her first Lolla headline, twelve years after weather killed her 2014 set four songs in. JENNIE becomes the first solo K-pop headliner in the festival's history. Olivia Dean gets her first US festival headline after a monster year.

Do not sleep on Turnstile, The xx ending their hiatus, or Yungblud. And if you are watching from home, Hulu and Disney+ are streaming the headliners live starting at 4 p.m. ET every day.

Four days, eight stages, 170 artists. See you in the park.
