Sonic Temple 2027 just dropped the full lineup and Columbus is going to need a bigger stadium

Nearly 150 artists, five stages, May 13 to 16 at Historic Crew Stadium. blink-182, Iron Maiden, Falling In Reverse and Korn headline by day, with a rare Faith No More US reunion show buried in Sunday like a bonus boss.

The full Sonic Temple 2027 lineup is out, and I have read the poster three times because my brain kept skipping lines. There are too many names. That is a compliment.

The festival runs May 13 to 16, 2027 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, with nearly 150 artists across five stages. Four days. Five stages. Bring comfortable shoes and a loose schedule for your voice, because it will be gone by Saturday.

Go day by day with me. Thursday belongs to blink-182, with The Offspring and Turnstile right behind them, plus Knocked Loose and Mastodon down the card. Friday is Iron Maiden up top, with A Perfect Circle and Alice In Chains. Saturday hands the keys to Falling In Reverse, A Day To Remember, and Beartooth playing a hometown show, which is going to get emotional and loud in equal measure. Sunday closes with Korn and $uicideboy$, and hiding in that same day is the one I cannot stop staring at: Faith No More, billed as a rare US reunion show. Rare is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Faith No More on US soil does not happen every summer, folks.

The deep cuts are just as fun. Ministry plays what is billed as their final Columbus show on their farewell run. Circa Survive gets an exclusive Ohio reunion slot. Sleeping With Sirens, Hot Mulligan, Soulfly, Clutch, GWAR, Jimmy Eat World, Primus, Meshuggah and The Prodigy are all in there too. Somewhere in Columbus there is a fan building a spreadsheet right now, trying to solve this schedule like it owes them money. I respect the effort. It cannot be done.

Danny Wimmer Presents general manager Chamie McCurry says the lineup is built to celebrate the artists who shaped this music, the bands driving it forward, and the next generation coming up behind them. Read the poster top to bottom and that is exactly what it is. Legends, current killers, and kids who will be headlining this thing in ten years, all on one field.

Tickets are on sale now through the festival site. Columbus in May just became a standing appointment. See you in the pit, or more likely, see you running between stages with a schedule in one hand and a drink in the other.
