Nine years. That is how long UK fans have waited to see U2 in a stadium at home, and the wait just got an end date.
U2 plays Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on June 18 and 19, 2027, the first UK shows for the band since 2018. Those two nights sit inside The Greatest Show On Earth world tour, a run that takes in South America, Europe, and the UK, with extra dates already added in Mexico City, Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires because the first ones sold out.
The timing works, too. Their sixteenth studio album, Carnaval De Luz, lands November 13, so fans get a new record in their hands months before the stadium lights go up. Wolf Alice supports on the UK and European leg, which is a strong pick. A Mercury Prize winning band opening for U2 is a bill with some weight to it.

And here is the part that makes this run feel right: Larry Mullen Jr. is back behind the kit. He stepped away from touring in 2023 to recover from neck and back surgery, and Bram van den Berg held the seat down while he healed. Larry returned in September and reunited with the band for a run of Dublin gigs marking the 50th anniversary of U2. Fifty years in, and the original four are walking into stadiums together again.
The European leg runs April to July 2027: Stockholm, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Milan, with dates in Ireland, Spain, and North America still to come. Artist presale opens Thursday, November 5 at 10 am, and you need to sign up before 10:59 pm on Sunday, November 1 to get in. General sale hits Friday, November 6 at 10 am.
