It's official. Nikki Cross is sitting down with Moe Train's Tracks this weekend at Spooky Empire in Orlando.

Cross built her name the long way. She came up through the British scene as Nikki Storm, signed with WWE in 2016, and broke out in NXT. On the main roster she won the Women's Tag Team Championship three times, then had her singles moment: she won Money in the Bank in 2021 and cashed in on Charlotte Flair the next night to become Raw Women's Champion. She was part of the Wyatt Sicks after that, then transitioned into her next venture.
“Wrestlers wait their whole careers for the phone to ring. She went and bought the company.”

That next venture is the bigger story. She bought into PROGRESS Wrestling and became a co-owner of the promotion, and she is back on the independent scene under the name she started with, Nikki Storm. Wrestlers wait their whole careers for the phone to ring. She went and bought the company.
That is the conversation I want. How a wrestler gets in, what the business looks like from the owner's chair, and what it takes to build something instead of waiting on it. She even wrote a master's dissertation on women's wrestling. This is not a surface-level talk.
I will be on the floor at Spooky Empire all weekend, and the interviews will roll out on the site and the channels as they happen. Nikki Cross is the first one locked in. It will not be the last.
