Mick Foley is coming to Lakeland, and I'm not staying calm about it. Central Florida Comic Con runs January 15 to 17 at the RP Funding Center, and Foley sits at the top of the guest list. Mankind. Cactus Jack. Dude Love. Three faces, one legend, and he is the headline guest.
He isn't alone on the card. The guest list so far runs Michaela Jill Murphy, Kevin Woo, Alan Lee, Emily Neves, Felecia Angelle and Jad Saxton, a strong voice cast run, and the con says the list is still growing. Lakeland is an easy drive from Southwest Florida, and a three-day con with a wrestling legend at the top is my kind of January.

Foley is also one of the great talkers in wrestling, a guy who turned storytelling into a second career. A conversation with him is the top of my list for that weekend, full stop.
Coverage plans include: in-person interview requests put in well ahead of the show, photo coverage from the convention floor and the panels, and daily recaps on moetrainstracks.com.
