Orlando does Christmas different. Holiday Matsuri turns 15 this year, December 18 to 20 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse. It's billed as Florida's largest anime convention, and the number backs it up: more than 45,000 people a year.
The weekend runs on voice actor guests, a national-level cosplay competition and gaming tournaments, with the cosplay alone worth the drive. Guest names are still to be announced as I write this, and I'd rather tell you that straight than guess. The moment the guest list posts, it changes the whole interview plan for the weekend.
